2019 CONNEY PRIZE FOR LGBTQ+ POETS
The Conney Prize for LGBTQ+ Poets aims to support the promotion, representation, and appreciation of LGBTQ+ poets and poetry. The Conney Prize is open to unpublished poetry collections that go beyond the delivery of flowery verses, but are rather filled with pieces which reorganize conventional forms and prompt readers to feel more widely. We believe moving poetry features a voice that does not apologize for its origin or priorities.
